How the Schedule is Stored and Used on a Template

The schedule on a template is stored exactly as it was when the schedule was created.

If the template was created six months ago, the schedule is also six months in the past.

You must schedule any new jobs, and a job from a template is no different. After you add the template:

• Auto schedule does change the length of a task. For example, if you allocated a month for a task that only takes ten hours, the task is now allocated ten working hours, which is roughly a day and a half.
• Shift schedule moves the schedule to your preferred date. The length of the task is preserved.
  Note: You must ensure that Visible Length is selected on the Job Schedule Settings pop-up before you move the schedule, or the task length will not be preserved.
